East Kilbride Athletic Club
The East Kilbride Athletic Club ( or EKAC for short) is an athletic club based in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is located inside John Wrights Sports Center, which has its own athletics track. The club was founded in 1959 and are affiliated to Scottish Athletics Ltd. EKAC caters for road running, cross country, hill running and track and field events with the minimum age being eight years, there is no upper age limit.
== Training ==
The club trains on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening at the East Kilbride Stadium (John Wrights Sports Center) and in the winter the young athletes train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at Kirktonholme Pavilion. There is also a senior road running section which meets at the sports centre on a Monday at 7pm.〔(East Kilbride Athletic Club - Training Times )〕
